Job Description:
*Leads the installation and configuration of the SQL Server database environments and ensures the Maximo database setup aligns with best practices for performance and security.
*Monitors database performance, identifies bottlenecks, and applies changes to database settings or SQL queries to enhance speed and efficiency including indexing strategies, query optimization, and configuring server resources.
*Leads the implementation of a robust backup strategies for data integrity and availability.
*Manages user roles and permissions, encrypting data as necessary, and protecting against unauthorized access.
*Oversees database maintenance tasks, such as updating statistics, rebuilding indexes, and applying patches or updates to the SQL Server and Maximo.
*Troubleshoots problems as they arise and provides technical support to users and other IT staff.
*Monitors the growth of databases and plans for future storage, compute, and memory needs.
*Creates and manages reports, as well as extracts data for analysis purposes.
Education/Experience:
(10+BA/BS or 5+MA/MS) or (14+AA/No Degree)
