Position Summary
The Digital & IT Communications Specialist (PCS 48) plays a vital role within the Digital Program Management Office, supporting Parker’s Global IT function by crafting and editing internal and external communications through various mediums, including written content, graphics, audio, and video tools. This position involves collaborating with IT team members to create effective information-sharing materials, collect survey data, develop training resources, and curate interactive communication channels.
Additionally, the team member will assist with engagement activities in partnership with HR, support recognition programs, and contribute to SharePoint development and updates, training initiatives, and the creation of new programs.
This role is crucial for enhancing communication among IT professionals while establishing and maintaining organizational best practices and guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Create and/or edit internal and external IT communications using words, graphics, audio and video tools.
- Partner with IT Team members on the creation of information sharing, survey collection, training materials and interactive communication channel curation
- Perform an active role in continually improving communication standards and best practices
- Guide team members’ understanding of project communication expectations
- Deploys appropriate Digital and Information communication applications
- Recommends modifications of basic Digital and IT systems to improve and simplify business systems
- Develops training materials to support process changes
- Continuous improvement and simplification in deployment methodologies (Agile concepts)
- Recognize the skills essential to support current and future IT processes
- Collaborative/team approach and comfortable building relationships, both virtually and in-person, with colleagues and stakeholders
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, and spaneting computer science, information systems, or related area preferred.
- Show a portfolio of communications authored
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including SharePoint Online platform
- Excellent written, verbal and video communication skills
- Ability to collaboration with all levels of the team
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn and apply new methods and tools for communication and training requirements
- 0-3 years related communications experience (with IT experience preferred)
