We have a rare opportunity for a dynamic EH&S professional to join our team. You will support the Burnsville, MN operations in all functional aspects of the sites’ EHS Management System by joining a team of 4 EHS professionals who are dedicated to achieving world-class EH&S performance.
As an EH&S Specialist you will execute initiatives and programs across multiple EH&S disciplines, monitor local performance, and support practices to achieve and maintain compliance to internal and external EHS requirements.
The Collins Aerospace Burnsville site has a mature and positive EH&S culture, and we continue to work to enhance our management systems, policies, and procedures to maintain our world-class EH&S performance.
Execute initiatives, programs, procedures, reports, permits and trainings across multiple EH&S disciplines, as required to achieve and maintain compliance.
Reporting: Assist with submission of regulatory agency compliance reporting as required by permit, Federal or State requirements. Examples include Air Emissions, NESHAP, Wastewater, SPCC, Stormwater, RCRA LQG, SARA Tier II and 313 TRI reporting.
Assist and develop materials for EH&S programs and training and required by regulations such as confined space, respiratory protection, compressed gases, electrical safety, ergonomics, etc. to achieve and maintain that procedures are understood and applied.
Assist with incident investigations for injuries, environmental incidents, fires, spills, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
