Objective:
Lane Aviation is seeking to hire a General Manager to oversee its 24-hour, 7-day a week operation. This is a position for someone who thrives in a fast paced, customer focused environment. The candidate must enjoy working in a team setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Full profit and loss responsibilities for the FBO
- Business growth development
- Continuous analysis of operational practices, verification metrics, and improvement processes
- Communicate with department managers to ensure they have the resources they need to achieve department goals
- Contract review and negotiation with fuel supply, port authority, customer, vendor, and employee contracts
- Work with department managers to develop yearly budgets that align with company goals and expectations
- Ensure proper insurance standards are in place for all aspects of the company
- Act as a facilitator in legal matters
- Uphold the highest level of safety standards company-wide
- Ensure staffing levels are upheld to achieve the best service standards
- Participate in weekly meetings with senior level management
