Our client in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Human resources Business Partner to join their team.
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides HR support to their customers (business Units and employees). Their broad knowledge of HR programs and practices enables them to guide and advise on all HR topics, both operational and strategic. This role is responsible for delivering high quality, customer-focused service, supporting all levels of employees by developing implementing, administering and maintaining HR projects, programs, processes and policies, as well as supporting employee engagement. This position will work with individuals and teams, both nationally and internationally to deliver projects on behalf of the teams.
This assignment will be approximately six (6) months in duration.


Primary Responsibilities:
Ensures high quality and consistent HR services are delivered to employees and management for customer groups. These services include, but are not limited to; Employee Relations, Organization Development and Design, Change Management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Employee Training & Development, Succession Planning, Talent Acquisition and Retention, Compensation & Benefits.  Actively participates with the business leaders and their teams to ensure relevant information on all HR related business activities are understood, acted upon and cascaded appropriately.
Implement and maintain policies and programs that support and improve the positive culture and engagement of the workforce. Participates in cross functional initiatives within the HR community to ensure communications and collaboration on projects, planning and programs.

Drive and deliver high quality project work for the benefit  of the client organizations in the US and globally. This type of work requires exemplary team working abilities across different geographical locations, time zones and cultures.

Job Requirements:

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Relevant Human Resource generalist experience is required, experience working in a multi-functional international environment preferred. Excellent communication ability required, both written and oral across a variety of subject areas.  Demonstrated ability to turn thoughts and concepts into reality. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations.  Demonstrated coaching skills.  Demonstrated project management skills.  Working knowledge of federal, state and local employment law, and HR regulations.

Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field is required

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
A minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience. Previous experience working in a multi-cultural environment. Must work with a sense of urgency including responding to communications Must have exceptional leadership, negotiation and facilitation skills, experienced in resolving conflicts between different parties to a dispute. Must be able to work with a great sense of autonomy Well-organized and self-directed, and an engaged, collaborative team player. Customer focused with a strong business orientation. Demonstrated relationship building skills with other employees, subsidiaries and international colleagues; must work well in a team environment. Ability to work directly with management, senior management, and group executives locally and internationally, building consensus to achieve required solutions.

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):
Superior written, presentation and oral communication, interpersonal and consultative skills, as well as effective result-oriented problem solving skills. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
