Responsibilities
Position Summary The Inclusion and Engagement Specialist introduces team members to the company’s culture and operations, centered around PSA’s values. The Inclusion and Engagement Specialist will manage a consistent, well-organized and seamless onboarding experience, and coordinate engagement activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of New Hire Orientation including scheduling dates, locations, leader participation, and facilitators
- Primary facilitator of New Hire Orientation
- Coordinate, order and distribute promotional items for new hires
- Cultivate working relationships with the Talent Management Teams and Hiring Managers critical to ensuring effectiveness and delivery of the onboarding experience
- Develop 30, 60, 90 day onboarding experience for new team members
- Oversee, manage and own the PSA Milestones and Anniversaries, identifying pin orders, milestone gifts, and negotiating service provider
- Manage Air Show Luncheon, and Air Show Event Contract and Event Planning
- Plan PSA Be Pink Event and coordinate community events around cancer awareness
- President’s Award communication plan, event location, nominee management, and event planning
- Act as support for team member pulse surveys, sharing reports, distributing surveys and navigating the survey system
- Create and develop surveys for various engagement events, i.e. award nominations, pull reports, and share data
- Oversee the communication around and use of recognition platform (Nonstop Thanks)
- Run reports as needed for Nonstop Thanks platform, monthly points, and leader requests
- Develop and implement communication strategies to keep team members informed about engagement initiatives and opportunities
- Coordinate engagement events across all bases i.e. Holiday Decorating Contest, Boo Halloween, Toys for Tots and Heart Month
- Assist with team member engagement events including, volunteer, DEI events, community outreach event and company-wide events
- Responsible for the Companys Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Position Specifics
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year experience managing new hire onboarding
- At least two years’ experience of Human Resources/Recruiting support
- At least three years’ experience in customer service
- Proven experience in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of building new programs that create a great customer experience
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization, internally and externally
- Strong planning/organization skills
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.
Preferred
- BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience

Authorities: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Director of People Development and Inclusion.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
