Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Security Specialist who is self-motivated and can operate within a dynamic work environment to provide operational security support to PM EW&C.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and providing support to DD Form 254 development for collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) contracts.
  • Reviewing material for OPSEC concerns for public release.
  • Reviewing information produced by PM, Vendors and Product offices to ensure accurate Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) marking and Classified Military Information markings.
  • Provides support in product Critical Program information Assessment (CPIA) to assess product Critical Functionality, and Critical Program Information (CPI).
  • Completes in processing briefings for new employees to cover initial security briefing.
  • Represents the customer at working groups, meetings configuration control boards, and other events as required.
  • Provides tracking support for Program Protection related requirements among a diverse portfolio of systems.
  • Assists in conducting on-site surveys of prime contractors involving CPI and counterintelligence measures as requested.
  • Assists in presenting and tracking Foreign Travel requirements.
  • Provides support and coordination for Product Program Protection documentation approval with PEO staff.
  • Assists in maintaining and updating documentation for international agreements or foreign disclosure requirements.
  • Other duties may be assigned
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to successfully complete governmental/corporate security training.
  • Familiarity with requirements of DoDI 5200.39 - CPI Protection within DoD.
  • Knowledge of Operations Security (OPSEC), Industrial Security, and Information Security.
  • Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition process and Program Protection requirements for systems in various acquisition pathways.
  • Understanding/willingness to learn export requirements and process of Foreign Military Sales.
  • Understanding/willingness to learn International agreements and Foreign Disclosure requirements.
  • Experience writing and preparing documentation in accordance with DoD and Army regulations.
  • Efficient in Microsoft office products (Teams, Word, Excel).

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience.
  • Three (3) years supporting security aspects of program acquisition.
  • Three (3) years coordinating visitor security and control, and all security education requirements.

Clearance

  • Active TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance.
