Job Summary

The position will be part of the International Trade organization for GE Aviation Celma. A key responsibility will be supporting International Trade processes, including import and export audit procedures to ensure the company’s compliance is maintained. This role will be supported by the Special Regimes team to ensure compliance with AEO standards, as well as providing support to production for all processes involving imported and exported goods.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understand and operate within airworthiness legislation requirements, customs regulations, Recof Regime, and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) requirements.

• Responsible for import and export audit procedures.

• Manage KPIs and functional metrics.

• Provide support, metrics, and insights to optimize foreign trade processes and ensure international trade compliance.

• Utilize Process Excellence and Lean practices, as well as Foreign Trade and AEO Best Practice techniques.

• Leadership: Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead projects.

Key Customs & Compliance Tasks/Functions:

• Maintain a continuous focus on Customs Import and Export practices and legislation.

• Develop and maintain the highest standard of accuracy in company procedures to meet demands.

• Liaise with GE Aerospace HQ on specific issues.

Requirements:

• Advanced computer literacy skills, with ongoing experience in windows-based packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

• Knowledge of OASIS SAP, Thomson Reuters International Trade Suite of Software, and Brazilian Foreign Trade System.

• Expertise in Brazilian Foreign Trade Legislation and International Trade Compliance.

• Proven advanced written and oral English skills.

• Bachelors degree or relevant diploma in Business Administration, Production Engineering, International Relations, Trade, or Logistics and Supply Chain.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Innovative, logical, and creative approach to resolving issues and process improvements.

• Passionate and curious about International Trade, Logistics, and GE.

• Effective team player with the ability to motivate others.

• Adaptable to change.

Desirable Qualifications & Characteristics:

• Certification in Lean Six Sigma techniques, with a focus on Waste Removal and Digitization. Experience in Kaizen Breakthrough and Improvement Projects. Understanding of Lean Principles such as Standard Work, 5S, Kaizen, GEMBA.

• Certification in foreign trade.

• Certification or experience in audit procedures.
