Northrop Grumman’s Fleet Deployment Training Program Support (FDTPS) is seeking a motivated Knowledge Management Database Administrator to join their team at the Afloat Training Group in Norfolk, Virginia. The Administrator will manage the publication of on-line resources, maintain on-line repositories, and conduct classroom training with warfighters.
Job Duties:
- Act as the chief administrator for on-line question banks in support of testing the warfighter’s level knowledge
- Administer, manage, and update the customer’s website ensuring all stakeholders have access to unit-level training instructions and guidance
- Coordinate, conduct and standardize training in support of level of knowledge exams
- Provide metrics and analysis of data from level of knowledge exams to identify focus areas for relevancy, validity, and further training
- Provide classroom training for accessing an on-line repository relevant to the unit-level training cycle
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years experience or a master’s degree with 4 years of experience; or a High School diploma / equivalent with 10 years experience maybe be considered in lieu of degree requirement
- Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Experience in maintaining records and databases
-Experience conducting analysis/assessment to identify gaps, and increase efficiency
-Experience in conducting classroom training
- Secret (or higher) security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Navy shipboard training and processes
Experience with on-line question banks in support of testing the warfighter’s level knowledge
Experience standardize training in support of level of knowledge exams
Salary Range: $75,400 - $113,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
