The F135 Lightning Sustainment Center (LSC) is seeking a Global Support Solution (GSS) Spares Analyst at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), a vibrant and dynamic facility located in Dayton, Ohio.
As the Pratt & Whitney (P&W) liaison for F135 Supply Chain Management (SCM), your role in this pivotal position will be significant. You will closely coordinate with the WPAFB Hybrid team and integrate with the F135 Sustainment Team centered in East Hartford, CT, thereby expanding your network and influence.
Your primary role in this position will be continually refining the global F135 Life Cycle SCM support solutions within the Global Support Solution (GSS), in direct liaison and collaboration with the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) and industry personnel. This collaboration will not only enhance your skills but also make you part of a larger network. Your performance will significantly contribute to the delivery of enhanced global F135 SCM capabilities across a broad Continental US (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS) operating spectrum at both main operating bases, deployed land-based and/or maritime environments, and the MUWs (Multi-Use Warehouses). You will refine and sustain two-way supply lines of communication between all Program participants. You will be responsible for satisfying timely and accurate F135 SCM support posture and operational readiness reporting requirements.
Moreover, this role presents a unique opportunity to engage in SCM and fleet support metrics reporting and adjudication activities. This involvement will support measurements and improved delivery of a broad range of best-value Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) products and services. What You Will Do:
- Provide keen insights through business metrics, operational metrics, and forecasts and develop plans to Optimize processes by tracking issues and identifying areas for improvement of GSS Sparing
- Develop and coordinate long-term GSS Spares strategy to align with Pratt & Whitney, government LSC, and OSD sustainment strategies
- Operate under the program’s Business Rules and Sustainment Operating Instructions
- Communicate significant challenges and shortfalls that require leadership and LSC intervention and assistance through performance meetings
- Escalate priority of needs through the LSC & Global Fleet Support personnel for retrograde of unserviceable assets that are critical in meeting fleet supportability requirements
Qualifications you Must Have:
- A BS/BA in supply chain management, business administration, logistics management, or other related fields is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of aerospace/defense supply support experience OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of aerospace/defense supply support experience.
- ERP/MRP, preferably SAP expertise in Supply Chain/spares-related transaction
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- An advanced degree in a related field, including supply chain management, project management, and/or logistics experience, is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of PW/Raytheon Technologies internal supply policies, practices, and standard work is highly desired
- Familiarity with aerospace/defense Bills of Material, spare configuration management databases, and spare forecasting tables is highly desired
- Familiarity with Global Trade Compliance/Export requirements and strong CORE leadership are desirable
- Experience with the F135/Joint Strike Fighter Program

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
