As Laboratory Specialist you will support the operational business areas through a combination of destructive and non-destructive testing methods as well as chemical analysis to ensure conforming product throughout all stages of the build cycle.
Due to an internal promotion the opportunity has risen for a Laboratory Specialist to join an experienced team of around 14 supporting Airbus’s Broughton manufacturing facility in a highly varied role.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
Perform chemical analysis (XRF, ICP, IC, FTIR...)
Perform material testing and special incoming testing´s (hardness, electrical conductivity, spectroscopy, peeling ..)
Support failure analysis in case of customer irritations
Support external laboratories qualification and observation.
Carry out mechanical testing methods (tensile, fatigue, sheer...)
ABOUT YOU
Degree educated with a background in Chemistry
You will have experience of chemical and materials analysis in an industry where process, safety & governance is highly scrutinised
The ability to work shifts (mornings and afternoons)
