The Boeing Company’s Law Department is seeking a Legal Administrator to join their dynamic team.  This person will support attorneys and executives within the Law & Global Compliance team and provide administrative support in a variety of legal practice areas. This position will be based in Seattle, Washington. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Senior Level Legal Administrators to find the best fit for this position.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working under limited supervision and performing multiple work assignments concurrently, often within a short period of time, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.  The individual will also excel at working well with others, clearly communicating requirements, expectations, and deadlines, and asking questions to acquire and share relevant information.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative support to the law department and coordinate backup

  • Prioritize and schedule internal and external events and meetings

  • Assist hosting online meetings

  • Maintain executive calendars and anticipate conflicts

  • Facilitate collection, preservation and production of documents

  • Conduct research for report preparation

  • Prepare legal correspondence and presentations

  • Maintain legal management systems

  • Process domestic and international travel arrangements, monitor on-going logistics for all designated business travelers

  • Prepare expense reports

  • Provide front-office duties including, for example, supply maintenance and coordination with facilities, security, and other departments to meet office needs

  • Coordinate logistics for onboarding and offboarding of employees, and for hosting visitors to Boeing sites

  • Facilitate move and relocation services, furniture needs, and facilities requests

  • Assist with various other work and responsibilities, as needed

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. The expectation is a minimum of 3 days per week on-site at the Seattle, WA, location, but may be more based on office tempo and on-site needs. 

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction

  • Experience in a previous role where meticulous attention to detail, with emphasis on accuracy and quality was paramount

  • Experience in the handling and the safeguarding of proprietary and confidential information

  • Experience with Microsoft office suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associates degree or higher

  • 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience providing administrative support to multiple executives

  • Experience in heavy schedule management and/or travel planning

  • Experience with Passport Software

  • Experience with SAP Ariba Ordering System

  • Experience with MARS (My Account Request System)

  • Experience with Incoming Foreign Visit (IFV) requests

Typical Education & Experience:

Experienced (Level C)

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Senior (Level D)

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years related work, Bachelor+2 years related work, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level C): $63,750-$86,250

Summary pay range for Senior (Level D): $74,800-$101,200
