MRTT Spare Demand Planner (Temp Agency)

Job Description:

An opportunity for a MRTT Spare Demand Planner has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

• Analyse the historical data from previous maintenance events, in order to generate patterns for schedule and unscheduled demands

• Build a method/algorithm to generate BOM (Bill of Material) for maintenance events, according to the tasks to be performed during the event. 

• Evaluate the accuracy of the BOM by adherence analysis when compared with real consumption data. 

• Definition of internal processes and KPIs (customized according to each Customer’s requirements) in order to implement, monitor and maintain the pool of exchanges

• Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or Physics

• Strong knowledge and experience in Supply-Chain and logistics areas (APICs, Logistics certifications). Appreciated past experience in Inventory Management.

• Ability for dealing with large sets of data with an advance level in office package (Excel and Access).

• SAP R/3 (Logistic-Production module) expert level, work experience in production, planning, inventory and purchase orders management transactions.

• Ability to concurrently manage multiple complex projects, and adapt effectively in a dynamic environment with unpredictable and shifting priorities.

• Strong problem-solving abilities. Technically capable of determining “what’s wrong” in complex situations and offering potential solutions; identifies root causes of problems and works with others to create effective solutions.

• Strong analytical skills. Ability to break down raw information and unstructured problems into specific, workable components that reflect drivers of causal issues.  Makes logical conclusions, anticipates obstacles, and strives for superior results in a creative and resourceful manner.

• Strong and conscientious attention to detail and accuracy; solid organizational skills. You must thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. Demonstrated success working in an ambiguous environment.

• Knowledge of Visual basic for Excel
