The Opportunity :

Were seeking an experienced Social Media Content Creator to join our team and amplify our brand across key social channels. With a combination of strategic vision and hands-on creativity, youll continue to evolve Sunwings social presence into everyones travel bestie and trusted Flynancial advisor, creating engaging, platform-optimized content that sets us apart in the travel industry. You will work on the development and execution of multiple campaigns across our various brands and business priorities, as well as the ongoing management of our handles. Working in a hybrid environment and reporting to the Senior Manager of Social Media, youll be instrumental in bringing our brand persona to life across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube in a lighthearted and distinctive way.

This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to develop innovative social media content that resonate with our target audience and reinforce our brand identity.

The Ideal Candidate:

Youre not just a content creator; youre a creative storyteller who understands how to make brands stand out in crowded social feeds. You have your finger on the pulse of social media trends and know how to adapt them authentically for brand use. You have a deep knowledge of social media platforms and know how to implement the latest best practices for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and more. Most importantly, youre excited about the challenge of evolving our brand voice and helping establish Sunwing as everyones trusted travel companion on social media.

What You’ll Do:

• Conceptualize, pitch, shoot, edit and write, best-in-class social content that resonates with our audience and supports business priorities
• Create thumb-stopping and entertainment-driven content that brings our brand persona and voice to life as the fun, trusted travel friend our audience turns to for inspiration
• Develop and execute creative social media strategies that align with our brand objectives while pushing creative boundaries
• Collaborate with the broader spaneting team to support various brand and product spaneting campaigns through social activations
• Track and optimize content performance across key metrics including views, engagement rates, and community growth
• Manage day to day Social Media content calendar that outlines the publishing schedule, thematic content, and key business objectives

What You’ll Need:

• You live and breathe content. You have a proven track record of understanding and creating entertaining, platform-right content.
• 2-3 years of experience in social media management and content creation for brands
• Experience being on camera, including speaking to camera and creating voiceovers for social content
• Strong understanding of social media trends and the ability to quickly adapt them for brand relevance in a fast-paced environment
• Deep knowledge of social platforms beyond best practices, including hands-on experience with Meta Business Manager and TikTok Business Manager
• Expertise in mobile editing tools & social monitoring platforms
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly

• You think outside the box and are always looking to tap into the next big viral moment
• Previous experience creating content for travel/tourism brands an asset
