Role Introduction
We are looking for an experienced digital spaneter to join our Southwest Pacific Marketing Team located in Sydney.
You will play a pivotal role in executing integrated spaneting campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue generation. You will collaborate closely with both local teams and global headquarters to ensure campaigns resonate culturally, strategically, and effectively. It will also be your responsibility to manage key partnerships with our media and creative agencies, track campaign performance and measure campaign success.
The main objectives of the Marketing team are to raise awareness and consideration of the Cathay Pacific brand in Australia and New Zealand, drive bookings for key destinations, as well as acquire and activate members.
Key Responsibilities

- Take global spaneting campaigns and adapt them to resonate with audiences in Australia and New Zealand.
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships that support global strategies and drive business outcomes. Work closely with local agencies to bring campaigns to life, both online and offline.
- Manage B2B campaigns and work with sales teams to execute sales enablement initiatives
- Develop digital conversion campaigns that drive traffic and increase bookings.
- Monitor campaign performance and work with agencies to ensure we’re hitting our goals and provide competitive insights and spanet intelligence to help shape future campaigns.Support with the execution of lifestyle campaigns that align with global head office initiatives.
- Keep track of campaign finances, ensure POs are processed, and invoices are paid on time while staying within budget.
Requirements
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital or Advertising
- Minimum 2 years of experience in spaneting
- Experience working on integrated spaneting campaigns with a focus on digital
- Experience with Microsoft Office is a must, and experience with digital platforms like Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop & InDesign) are a bonus
- A great communicator – youre confident in working with external agencies and internal teams, sometimes across multiple regions.
- Ability to write online and eDM copy (whilst we use agencies, we do some of our quick turnaround creative in-house)
- A detail-oriented brand guardian who appreciates good creative work and knows how to maintain consistency.
- Up to date on the latest trends in the digital world and knows how to optimise activity to get the best results.
- Someone who can manage budgets and finances, keeping campaigns on track and within budget.
- Able to work independently to manage smaller projects, shows initiative and is self-driven
- Passionate about the travel industry and takes pride in delivering high-quality campaigns
