Minimum Education
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or three years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; equivalency years experience substitution must be in related field.
Minimum Experience
- Possess a minimum of one (1) year's experience in an aviation related field.
- Knowledge of FAR Parts 61, 91, 121, 135, 141, 142, 121 Appendix E and F, FlightSafety Operations Manual, and FAA Order 8900.1 . Thorough knowledge and understanding of all applicable FAA, EASA, TC and other NAA regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; able to speak, understand, read and write; a second language is a plus.
- IBM PC and/or compatible computer with printer
- Various peripheral computer equipment: Modem, ZIP Drive, external hard drives, etc.
- Various office equipment: FAX, Copier, and Multi-line Telephone
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee may be required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes of airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
