Responsible for on-time delivery of internal and external customer requirements. Requires normal supervision. Assignments may include development projects, prototypes, production orders, spares and repairs. Functions include reviewing sales orders, calculating material requirements, creating production schedules, interpreting drawings, creating purchase requisitions, incorporating engineering change notices, preparing shipping documents and coordinating project closeouts. Willing to work extra hours as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Interprets sales orders, develops and maintains production schedules, calculates material requirements, prepares purchase requisitions, releases manufacturing orders and prepares shipping documents in support of on-time shipments.
- Resolves problems associated with inventories, procurement, scheduling, work-in-process and shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Works from engineering drawings and system data to create purchase requisitions, production schedules and incorporate engineering change notices.
- Participates in department and program meetings.
- Prepares status reports as required.
- Coordinates project closeouts as assigned.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training. APICS courses and Certification desired. Minimum 1 years experience with material and production planning information systems in a manufacturing/assembly environment (MPS/MRP).

The wage range for this role considers allowances for a number of factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, licensure/certifications, education and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $28.50-$45.90.
