Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance and direction of Sr. Mgr. Security Operations Team.
  • Responsible for management and oversight of the GSC Security Operations Enterprise ticketing system, in support of all collateral efforts.
  • Implement the industrial security program by ensuring company, DCSA, and customer security requirements are met.
  • Interface with all levels of leadership and government management personnel.
  • Analyze security issues/problems and provide focused solutions.
  • Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security Plans (OPSEC), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Transportation Plans, etc. 
  • Conduct self-inspections, internal reviews, and government inspections.
  • Respond to deficiencies/findings discovered during audits and follow up with appropriate corrective actions.
  • Provide security briefings and debriefings in accordance with the government security requirements.
  • Assist with investigations of security infractions/violations and preparing reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise of information.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ work experience in security or compliance, or 3+ years security or compliance work experience with an advanced degree.
  • Current Secret or Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:                                                                                                                   

  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM.
  • Experience conducting briefings, debriefings, and refresher briefings.
  • Excellent MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel skills.
  • Ability to perform successfully as an individual contributor and as a team member.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
  • Professional Certifications/Affiliations.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
