Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Quality Analyst/Sr. Principal Quality Analyst to support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. This role is located in Roy, Utah.

What Youll Get To Do:
The selected candidate will support Mission Assurance functions to ensure mission success.
The candidate will ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements, quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures, and conformance to product quality specifications requirements.
The selected candidate will participate in creating, facilitating, and completing Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, providing guidance in the establishment of root cause by using the 8D methodology to assure complete and accurate problem-solving techniques.
This will include analysis of corrective action defect trends.
The selected candidate will work directly with operating entities to ensure completeness of corrective actions with objective evidence, while meeting identified requirements, ultimately ensuring that the quality assurance programs and policies pertaining to the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division Quality Management Systems are in accordance with AS9100 requirements.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Quality Analyst: A Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters, or 1 year of relevant experience with a PhD.
Sr. Principal Quality Analyst: A Bachelors degree with 8 years of experience, 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree, or 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
Required for both levels:
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
4 years experience working in an AS9100 or ISO9001 compliant organization.
2 years experience in developing or reviewing Root Cause / Corrective Action activity
Experience in Quality Management Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ Quality Management System (QMS) and Root Cause Corrective Action analysis
Continual Improvement
Risk Analysis and Management
Process Improvement
Experience with document control process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Salary Range: $78,700 - $118,100
Salary Range 2: $98,100 - $147,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
