Production Scheduler

22.00 - 29.11 per hour

We are currently looking for a Production Activity Controller for a global Aerospace manufacturer based in North Wales. Working within the Planning and Logistics team you will support the distribution of complex Aerospace components needed across the site. We’re looking for someone with a background in planning within a complex engineering environment such as Aerospace, Defence or Automotive.

The role is being offered on a 12-month contract basis, with possibility of further work beyond this. It will be full time on site in Broughton, at a rate of 22.00 per hour PAYE or 29.11 per hour Umbrella.

Responsibilities:

• Plan with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure seamless delivery of products to the shopfloor.
• Attend Production monitoring meetings and report on progress and parts availability.
• Launch daily routine for production scheduling tasks using work orders.
• Management of Components including missing parts and logistical distribution.
• Coordinate parasitic flow coordination with other departments.
• Manage outstanding Logistic flows, Manage Work Order transfer of responsibility.

Requirements:

• Planning experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• A self-motivated, organised problem solver with experience of organising logistical distribution.
• Excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills.
• Must be both customer and results orientated.
• Experience of collaborative working across departments in an engineering environment.
• Ability to work under pressure to agreed deadlines.
