Project Planner

Contribute to the frontier of space exploration and technology, working on satellite systems, space exploration missions, and advanced spaceborne instruments. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a team that expands our understanding and presence in space.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Program and Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance, ensuring integration across all functions.
- Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules that align with program scope, budget, and resources.
- Conduct critical path analysis and provide actionable planning data to address programmatic conflicts.
- Track, monitor, and status program commitments.
- Prepare planning artifacts for solicitation responses and interface with various management levels and the customer as a planning integrator.
- Ensure integration across schedules and program artifacts, and perform schedule risk assessments using modeling techniques.
- Utilize performance metrics to recommend actions that enhance program performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 4-5 years of planning/scheduling experience.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Proficiency in conducting critical path and risk analyses.
- Prior experience as a Planner/Scheduler at Lockheed Martin Space or similar major DoD companies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project Server, Open Plan, Acumen, and One Pager Pro.
- Ability to communicate effectively across disciplines.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of the spacecraft/satellite program lifecycle.
- Understanding of Program Performance Management Process.
- Experience in cost/schedule integration.
- Previous team lead experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
- Proactive self-starter with minimal supervision.
- Capability to support dynamic proposal activities.
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills.
