Description:The Quality Analyst will be a vital member of the Quality Engineering team. Responsibilities will include:
•Take active role in assisting with or leading Quality Engineering investigations into manufacturing defects
•Perform data collection for corrective actions
•Assist with communicating with suppliers on defect resolution
•Facilitate the processing of documents required for timely delivery of products
•Coordinate audit findings, ICARs and DCMA CARS to ensure all levels of plant management are aware of actions needed for timely closure
•Coordinate quality metrics and support problem-solving activities
•Coordinate Quality Engineering documentary processes
•Conduct audit preparation activities
•Prepare presentations for plant management and customers
•Perform other quality-related duties as needed
Basic Qualifications:
•US citizenship
•At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
•Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college
•A proven ability to think “outside the box”
•Strong communication skills
•Strong skills in MS software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Ability to work independently and as a team member
•High-energy individual who can move throughout the plant on a daily basis
Desired Skills:
•Experience in working in aerospace/defense industry or U.S. military
•Problem-solving experience on military products
•Experience in interacting with DCMA (U.S. Department of Defense)
•Knowledge of manufacturing quality processes and documentation
•Ability to understand technical drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications
•Experience within a AS9100 certified quality system
•Audit experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
