IM for Operations (DO) principal mission is to provide best in class information technology solutions for

Airbus in order to secure industrial operations and boost its future performance.

It is an important role at the heart of the DO function where collaboration and drive for results will be key for your own success. You need to manage yourself in a kind and assertive manner to ensure we hold each other accountable to succeed.

You need to be comfortable collaborating with people across several organizations, adapting to different levels of the organisation from teams to teams management, from contributors to sponsors, and in an international environment.

Your Business and Quality acumen to understand the challenges of deploying a Quality, Risks and Opps management system in an IM environment.

We need a energetic character not shy to speak up, with good communication skills, able to clearly onboard, build and animate the Risks, Opportunities and Quality transnational community.

Qualification & Experience

A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with

5-10 years of IT experience.

3-5 years of experience in Quality methodologies.

From Intermediate to Expert level:

Experience in Software Quality Assurance.

Experience in managing diverse nature of projects across various Product Lifecycles.

Usage and familiarity of various state of the art tools (e.g. VersionOne, Agilecraft, Rally, Jira, etc.)

Quality Management System certified to EN9100, ISO9001.

Experience with conflict resolution, scope management, issue & risk tracking, communicating to clients and partners and vendor management

Design and deliver customized training for the team

Ability to think creatively and resolve impediments quickly

Ability to handle changes smoothly and positively

Intermediate level:

Experience with continuous delivery, DevOps, and release management.

Ability to communicate concisely and accurately to team and to management

Responsibilities

  • Quality

    • Act as a Quality Analyst Representative for DO and lead process deployment in DO perimeter.

    • Reinforce the Quality mindset within our Projects and PSLs (Product Service Lines), to ensure compliance in our ways of working all along the IT lifecycle activities.

    • Drive simplification of the IM Quality system and challenging the BMS at Central level

    • Ensure compliance with EN9100 requirements and support preparation and follow-up the outcomes of internal and external PSLs or Projects audits

    • Promote Company wide initiatives such as Quality and Safety First.


 

  • Risks and Opportunities

  • Secure Airbus IM Risk & Opportunity management robustness to prevent mid- or long-term threats on business specially on Business Continuity activities (Export Control, Company Security, 

  • Improve visibility of IM Risk & Opportunities management and ensure Airbus DO Enterprise Risk Management compliance

  • Improve the exchange with DO business partners

The main focus of this role:

  • Support an integrated Performance, Audit, Risk & Quality (PARQ) synergy

  • Take a proactive role in the definition and continuous improvement in the IM Quality, Risks and Opportunities activities

  • Drive the implementation of the IM Quality, Risks and Opportunities working with the PSLs to ensure we meet the IM objectives

  • Working in a collaborative way with other teams within Quality, Risks and Opportunities department in EU, PSLs and the Business  

  • Support the PSLs in Audit preparation

  • Ensure compliance with EN9100 requirements

  • Support different PSL teams in implementation of Airbus defined Quality, Risks and Opportunities methods, process, tools and templates

  • Support Process Management Team in process deployment and improvements

  • Capture Customers feedback and facilitate Root cause Analysis and Action Planning.

  • Provide local inputs for Risk mitigation Plan, Process Performance measurements, resource model and process referential documentation

  • Participate in Metrics definition and analysis for the projects

  • Conduct and participate in the root cause analysis for identified issues in collaboration with Agile Coaches or Reliability Engineering.

  • Effective conflict navigator who knows how to help teams not only deal, but also learn from conflict

  • Ability to manage stakeholders and drive a culture of effective feedback

  • An active listener who can help remove individual blocks through active listening & powerful questioning 

  • Effective communicator who is adept at verbal, nonverbal and written communication 

  • Strong Change Agent who sets high standards and expectations towards relentless improvement

  • Use awareness sessions, webinars, Hub communities to explain process changes in your area.

Success Metrics

Success will be measured in a variety of areas, including but not limited to

  • Quality, Risks and Opportunities plans defined & applied in DO

  • Interpretation of global process requirements and alignment with the IM Quality, Risks and Opportunities team.

  • Performance measurement and improvement in place on projects & services

  • Quick and Efficient resolution of Organisational impediments

  • Training, Mentoring teams in new ways of working.

  • No findings on internal and external audits on DO perimeter
