Job Title: QUALITY LOGBOOK TECHNICIAN IIIJob Description
Coordinate deliverables to Quality from various departments including engineering, methods, production, manuals distribution, customer support, contracts, and service departments. Review documentation packages to ensure accuracy before providing them to CAT 1 Inspectors for presentation to Transport Canada. Liaise with Transport Canada during the aircraft certification process; update, maintain, and allocate aircraft registration and indices; review and maintain current and new Airworthiness Directives; respond to issues raised during the aircraft certification process as applicable to the Quality documentation package.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate deliverables to Quality from multiple departments.
- Review documentation packages for accuracy prior to presentation to CAT 1 Inspectors.
- Liaise with Transport Canada during the aircraft certification process.
- Update, maintain, and allocate aircraft registration and indices.
- Review and maintain current and new Airworthiness Directives.
- Respond to issues raised during the aircraft certification process.
- Meet with customers during the acceptance process to investigate and resolve snags.
- Provide direction and training to junior personnel.
- Prepare drafts of new and revised procedures affecting Category I and II inspectors and Logbook Technicians.
- Assist in preparation of aircraft documentation packages with Senior Logbook Technician.
- Assign, coordinate, and check the work of Senior Logbook Technicians and lower classifications.
- Represent the Line Manager at meetings as needed.
Essential Skills- Graduation from a post-secondary institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the Quality Assurance field directly related to aircraft delivery and quality requirements.
- Ability to use a personal computer and relevant software.
- Good organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in preparing and maintaining all aircraft logbooks.
- Presentation skills.

Work Environment
This role is based in an office environment, working closely with one other quality logbook technician and the certification team (CAT1s and clerks). Reporting to a supervisor, the role operates on a rotation every 2 weeks between day shifts (8am-4pm or 7am-3pm) and afternoon shifts (12pm-8pm).
