We are looking for a Quality Specialist to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

Areas of impact: Support the team with end-to-end process steps for bid, project, engineering, integration/ production, service, supply chain.

Responsibilities: 
✔    As the customers&39;/authorities&39; single point of contact for Quality, you will ensure the communication and implementation of their requirements (including safety and reliability) throughout the company’s processes (sell, manage projects, develop, fulfil, support and source).
✔    You will also ensure that all applicable Quality activities along the product lifecycle (engineering and operations) are defined, planned and implemented (from the offer to the end of the product life-cycle including in-service phase if applicable).
✔    You will do this in line with the defined business management processes to provide customers/authorities with the required degree of quality on time and on cost.
✔    To do so, you will collect, analyze, visualize and interpret the relevant product and/or in-service performance data using all available means (manual and automatic) to identify and prevent early deviations and to take effective action by means of lessons learnt consideration and of root cause analysis in order to mitigate and resolve any quality issues.
✔    You will as well participate or organize the deployment of preventive techniques in case of baseline changes (e.g. product modifications, manufacturing process changes, etc.).
✔    You will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality of project process execution. 
✔    You will as well actively support the implementation of Program Excellence methodology (e.g. APQP) and/or any other applicable procedures/processes and you will ensure adequate corrective actions are triggered when deviations to proper implementation occur.
✔    Where deviations occur, you will be involved in the handling of the non- conformance and waiver treatment (Practical Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Containment Action, Corrective Action, Preventive Action) including analysis of the deviations, monitoring of the corrective and preventive actions, as well as contributing to the improvement of the quality standards.
✔    You will obtain the necessary evidence that the processes and activities comply with customer requirements.
✔    You will devise, negotiate and implement the Quality Management / Assurance plan throughout the duration of the programme/project.
✔    You will implement the internal project / product phase review process.
✔    You will also attest the conformity of the product with regards to contractual requirements and legal rules, and monitor the conformity & attestation status.
✔    Finally, you will coordinate the resolution of customer Quality issues and provide feedback to avoid any future reoccurrence.
✔    If authorized, you will support the company&39;s certifications and interfaces with external quality authorities (ISO, IAQG, AQAP, EASA, ECSS, etc.).
✔    Based on business needs, occasional travel outside the country may be required.

KEY DELIVERABLES: Quality Requirements cascade, Quality Effort estimation, Quality Management/Product Assurance Plan, Non-Conformance Analysis and Consolidated Action Plan including feedback, End to End Product/Service Conformity, Attestation, Process Adherence, Project / Product / Deliverable Quality Reviews


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: end to end Quality to demonstrate conformity to processes and requirements at Programme level to Customers and External Authorities (when authorized), to drive prevention/anticipation and non-conformity management at Programme level. Key contribution to customer satisfaction and On Quality, On Time, On Cost execution and delivery

Requirements:


Skills
✔    University graduate
✔    Proven experience with International Standards (ISO9001, EN9100, AQAP)
✔    Proven experience in performing Root cause & impact analysis     
✔    Optionally Experience with implementation of  Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
✔    Experience producing Data visualisation and Communication
✔    Experience with Product/Service LifeCycle Qualification
✔    Experience with Requirements Management
✔    Fluent in English

Knowledge

✔    Solid knowledge of quality tools & techniques to address & prevent quality issues e. g. Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); Quality Planning & Gates, Failure Mode & Effect  Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Practical Problem Solving (PPS), Critical Items(CI), Key Characteristics (KT), FOD prevention and Improvement Methodologies (e. g. LEAN, LEAN Six Sigma).
✔    Knowledge and initial exposure to Agile Project management
✔    Knowledge of the Configuration Management basic processes and rules (product identification, product change, product baseline and conformity) and how they interact with the industrial / business processes.
