The Boeing Company is actively seeking a Radar Tracking Analyst located in Huntsville, AL, supporting the National Team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Individual will provide Models and Simulation (M&S) development for radar tracking algorithms and conduct performance analysis and trade studies related to tracking functions for the Missile Defense Agency.
- Individual will develop and execute medium-to-high fidelity, object-oriented MATLAB models and simulations (M&S) which include sensing phenomenology, signal processing, detection, tracking, and discrimination functionalities.
- Individual will provide subject matter expertise into radar tracking and sensor fusion and coordinate analysis activities and products with functional group leads, senior management, and government personnel responsible for executing analysis tasks.
- The individual will document analysis results in reports and briefings to be presented to the Missile Defense National Team (MDNT) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. A flexible work schedule may be offered, provided it aligns with customer needs and availability.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance/SCI Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Minimum of 1 year experience using Matlab
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with Missile Defense Architecture/Systems
- Minimum of 1 year experience with system tracking
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Highly preferred: Current active TS/SCI
- Experience or coursework with simulation and / or system/component modeling
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: $ 97,750 – $ 132,250
