Job Description:

As a Recruiter, here is what you’ll be doing at the core, day to day.

The Recruiter’s responsibility is to fill open roles with qualified candidates. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process by working alongside hiring managers & HR business partners to effectively source, attract, recruit, and interview candidates for open roles. The Recruiter will collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners on the job description, source candidates through job boards/databases/social media, conduct interviews, present offer letters. The position is based near our facility’s aircraft hanger and will report into the Manager of Talent Acquisition. This position will be on-site and can be based in our Tucson, Az facility OR Bridgeport, Wv location.

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment processes, including: posting job, intake meeting, review applications, conduct phone screens, present candidates for consideration, schedule interviews and extend offers
  • Serve as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers; provide a positive experience & timely communication for all parties involved
  • Obtain a strong, in-depth understanding of the roles/requirements for each job in order to fully pre-screen and qualify candidates; represent the company and the department/role well
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish and manage effective recruitment strategies
    • Source talent through various platforms including but not limited to: LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Indeed, industry specific job boards, social media, etc.
    • Partner with preferred staffing agencies (when needed) to ensure roles are filled in a timely manner
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Comprehensive engagement (tracking, communications) of passive candidates
  • Participate in off-site career fairs and activities at select schools; participate in on-site activities such as facility tours and career fairs
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation in ATS, paper files, etc. is maintained in all phases of the recruitment process

Here’s what is required to succeed as a Recruiter.

  • 4+ years of experience as a full cycle recruiter with experience in high volume, non-exempt role hiring and/or exempt recruitment
  • Bachelor or Associate degree is a plus
  • Experience in both corporate and manufacturing environments is a plus
  • Hands on experience with applicant tracking systems (Success Factors is a plus) and other recruiting related tools and technologies (i.e., LinkedIn Recruiter, ZipRecruiter, industry specific job boards, etc)
  • Experience with leading strategy calls and/or client interviews
  • Experience with offer presentation and negotiation
  • Possess a strong attention to detail with an unparalleled work ethic
  • Have a natural curiosity to learn the business, roles; understand the big picture as well
  • Tremendously well organized and thorough in tracking tasks, activities, notes
