Job SummaryThe Relocation Specialist is responsible for supporting the management of the NCJC Travel and Relocation programs and services provided to all NAV CANADA managers, employees, and trainees across Canada.

In this role you will:
Provide advice, guidance, and personalized assistance to managers and to all NAV CANADA employees and trainees on all matters pertaining corporate travel and relocation.
Administer the relocation program budget, providing input to budgetary plans and projections based on operational requirements and;
Authorize reimbursement for management, employee, and trainee relocations across Canada.
Monitor, control, and administer the utilization of financial and human resources, reporting on overall employee relocation program performance to the Manager, Travel & Relocation.
Participate in the planning, periodic audit, review, and amendment of the provisions of travel and relocation programs, services, related plans, allowances and benefits to NAV CANADA employees.
Oversee the work of a relocation unit and provide functional supervision to the relocation advisors,
Provide feedback to the Manager, Travel and Relocation on the performance of the relocation advisors to assist with development, performance, and evaluation.
Conduct research, reviews policies, procedures, programs, and systems and participate as a project team leader on professional consulting assignments where you can add value to the project.
Administer the FAM Flights Program, providing guidance to managers and employees, and auditing and approving expense reports.
Ensure relocation information, reporting and communication systems satisfy corporate and employee requirements on an ongoing basis, by identifying, recommending, and assisting with the implementation of new technologies to contribute to resource and service improvements.
What you bring:
A university degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Minimum 3 years of experience in travel, relocation, or administration of corporate employee programs.
Experience in program coordination in a unionized environment.
Experience in administering contracts and relations with suppliers of goods & services.
Experience in supervising staff and the administration of general, financial, and administrative services.
Experience in analyzing data, producing reports, and creating and delivering presentations.
Good knowledge of NAV CANADA’s organization, operation and a thorough knowledge of the Human Resources Department, Travel and Relocation, as well as the policies, guidelines, procedures, and administrative practices related to the services provided.
Sound knowledge of NCJC Programs, NAV CANADA collective agreements, CRA guidelines, real estate practices and financial institution lending practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
