Job Description:

Job Title: Repair Administrator

Department: OSC Materials Engine Shop

Location: Oscoda, MI

Summary:

The Repair Administrator is directly responsible to the Repairs Supervisor.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Allocating components for repair / overhaul.
  2. Generating repair orders for company / customer items.
  3. Ensuring that only approved providers are used for component repair / overhaul. This is done by referencing the Approved Maintenance Provider List or obtaining an approval from the Kalitta Air Quality Assurance Department for a one-time use.
  4. Ensuring that repaired / overhauled parts are airworthy and have the required certification.
  5. Reviewing providers quotes on parts that are out for repair / overhaul. Preparing the current inventory level and any additional information required for quote approval.
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Powerplant Division Materials Manager.

Education/or Experience:

High school diploma is required. Must know how to operate a standard computer as well as Microsoft office, Excel, and be able to communicate professionally, accurately, and clearly.

Qualifications:

Good attendance is a must.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to convert between different units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb/descend stairs, and bend.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters, while performing the essential functions of this job. Will work mainly at a computer station. Subjected to occasionally low – high noise levels.
