We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our Reno - MRO team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and distributing the Schedule, ensuring compliance with aircraft planning, scheduling, and control methods. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing resource utilization and supporting customer needs.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute the Master Schedule, performing acceptability analysis based on current scheduling requirements and resource availability (up to 80 of facility capacity).
- Ensure compliance with aircraft planning, scheduling, and control methods and procedures.
- Utilize flow charts to review potential schedule conflicts due to capacity constraints.
- Develop and recommend processes, procedures, flowcharts, and material handling methods to ensure optimal utilization of resources for aircraft maintenance.
- Define, monitor, and revise standard resource requirements (e.g., tooling, technical data, labor hours, materials) for maintenance tasks.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, sales, quoting departments, and various other departments to support customer needs as required.
- Consistently monitor work in progress and update the Schedule.
- Identify schedule conflicts and notify the Sales department to resolve issues.
- Define content, capacity, and capabilities of work centers.
- Monitor aircraft maintenance status and assist in supporting all work arising that impacts the schedule.
- Support the development and application of time standards for tasks.
- Provide data input (e.g., work scope span time, arrival, and delivery dates) to the Sales and Quoting department to support sales proposals.
- Support the corporate mission and vision through the achievement of department goals and objectives.
- Observe company rules and regulations and safety policy as they apply to the Planning and Scheduling Department.
- Perform other duties as required.
