The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Application Support Administrator to work in Berkeley, MO. We’re seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative individual to lead and support the existing capabilities of an agile software program in the Phantom Works organization. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans, executes and documents software research and development projects
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for DevSecOps pipeline and associated tools
  • Responsible for software development tool administration, maintenance, version upgrades, patch management, and integration between the tools (Jira, Gitlab, Artifactory, Confluence, etc)
  • Develops processes for tool and user management
  • Maintains current software licensees and procurement of any necessary new licenses
  • Supports the software development team with new tool configurations
  • Supports the software development team in software delivery automation across multiple networks
  • Briefs software designs and demonstrating software release functionality to customer/stakeholders/end users.
  • Develops and sustain new and existing applications; as well as troubleshoot and resolve various software issues.
  • Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with C++, C, or JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience with Cross Platform Development (Windows/Linux)
  • 3+ years of experience with version control systems such as Git, ClearCase, or Subversion
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile SDLC Development

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working autonomously in closed areas with little to no supervision
  • Experience working with distributed teams
  • Ability to obtain Security+ Certification
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration
  • Experience leading cross IPT teams
  • Experience with embedded software
  • Experience with integration labs
  • Experience with various aircraft integration, including open mission systems architecture
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years related work experience, Master+7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Summary pay range: $123,250 – $166,750
