We are Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T): Boeings global research and development team creating and implementing innovative technologies that make the impossible possible and enabling the future of aerospace. Our team is responsible for infusing new technologies into the design and production system, as well as ensuring that new designs and our suppliers meet the applicable material and process requirements.

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Office Administrator to support the BR&T team located in either Seattle, Washington or Everett, Washington.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting executives, possesses a high degree of professionalism, and discretion. This role will include supporting 4 executives in a dynamic environment while prioritizing each executive’s schedule and travel arrangements.

The successful candidate will be proactive, demonstrate a robust attention to detail and an ability to adjust priorities efficiently and effectively. They should have the ability to quickly familiarize themselves and problem-solve at a high level with new issue areas as well as the ability to shift from supporting work in one issue to the next.  Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate positive working relationships at all levels, with strong collaboration, communication, and people skills.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs the following tasks for Vice Presidents and above:

  • Coordinates and processes domestic and international business travel arrangements, monitors designated business travelers logistics, generates expense reports and assists in reconciling corporate credit card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement and verifies payments to corporate credit cards

  • Collects and compiles data to provide visibility of status for travelers review and/or signature

  • Creates, edits and maintains electronic and written communication

  • Tracks and maintains information relative to department and business operations

  • Verbally communicates a wide variety of information to multiple audiences

  • Processes and screens incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information

  • Prioritizes and schedules management-level employee time and availability for efficient use of time

  • Tracks and maintains designated conference room schedules for availability and efficient use of resources

  • Coordinates with the appropriate focal(s) to support the acquisition and maintenance of resources

  • Orders and maintains office supplies

  • Plans and implements logistics for senior executive level internal and external events

  • Provides guidance to less experienced employees

  • Works under minimal supervision

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience coordinating and processing travel arrangements, generating expense reports and reconciling corporate credit card charges

  • 5+ years of experience providing administrative support to multiple customers such as vice presidents, directors, and managers

  • 5+ years of experience composing and editing documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • 5+ years of experience in the handling and the safeguarding of proprietary and confidential information

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Higher education or studies in a related field (i.e., college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • Familiarity with Boeing expense and travel systems

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years related work, Bachelor+2 years related work, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Plan: $68,850 - $93,150
