Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Specialist – Flight Experience is responsible for defining and leading strategy and initiatives for onboard service and Link related projects within the Inflight division. (e.g., Polaris service, Cultural Connections, Premium Transcon Service, New Onboard Meal Services, Catering Feedback, Dishware, Link to Link, Preorder, Contactless Payment, My Flight Modernization, Inflight Service Modernization).

This position is based at Willis (Corporate Support Center) and will work on site a minimum of three days a week.

  • Drive strategy, engagement, and deliverables for onboard service and Link programs (e.g., Polaris service, Cultural Connections, Premium Transcon Service, New Onboard Meal Services, Catering Feedback, Dishware, Link to Link, Preorder, Contactless Payment, My Flight Modernization, Inflight Service Modernization)
  • Monitor and develop new business requirements and service procedures to support key onboard initiatives
  • Partner with other organizations (Catering, Marketing, Customer Experience, Digital Technology) to identify needs to support key onboard projects
  • Advise cross-functional teams on strategies to enhance the onboard experience for flight attendants and customers
  • Partner with other organizations (Catering, Marketing, Customer Experience, Digital Technology) to identify needs to support key onboard projects
  • Leverage connections with base leadership, flight attendant feedback, customer insights and in external marketplace to continuously identify new opportunities to improve the onboard experience

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelors degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience leading and influencing a team with good decision-making capability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Organization skills
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Ability to work with cross functional groups
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Problem resolution skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
  • 2 years ‘of Inflight Base operations experience preferably in leadership capacity
  • 2 years’ experience managing both union and on-union work groups
  • Project management experience
  • UA Flight attendant Qualified (1 year)
