Description:We are Lockheed Martin

The selected candidate for this position will perform as an F-22 Special Test Equipment (STE) software and/or hardware developer. Primary duty is to assist in the development of STE software, and sustainment of STE equipment utilized by engineering personnel at field locations. Duties to include up to but not limited to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair F-22 aircraft STE anomalies. Secondary is troubleshooting and corrective action on Hardware. Position will also be utilized to assist with performing the improvement of developed automated test scripts, procedures, and other documentation used to conduct subsystem level testing in a test lab environment.

Job responsibilities for the position may include but are not limited to the following:

- Architect, design, develop, verify, and validate aircraft system’s diagnostic software and user interfaces to meet requirements.
- Interface with co-workers across business areas to
collaborate on software development.
- Capture and document customer, user, and engineering diagnostic software requirements.
- Create software and system test plans.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and will require a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a related discipline (Software, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Science, etc.), or equivalent experience/combined education.

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures and reports.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint)

- Familiar with software development (i.e. proficient in or ability to learn software languages like C/C++, C or related languages)
Desired Skills:
- Proficient in Tableau or similar data visualization tools
- Proficient in data analytics
- Experience developing applications for both Windows and Linux
- Experience configuring and cloning OS images
- LabVIEW experience a plus but not necessary
- Current SECRET security clearance
- Experience in software development for test equipment
- Experience in military or commercial aviation
- Good verbal and written communication including
technical writing.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
