Splunk Operation Specialist / Administrator (m/f)

Job Description:

A new opportunity within Airbus Defence & Space has arisen for a Splunk Operations Specialist / Administrator. The position will be based in TOULOUSE, Palays (31).

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

In this role you will support our Lead Architects / Experts to further evolve our very complex system landscape on Splunk. Moreover it will be your responsibility to further board data sources in the French perimeter and administrate our Splunk environment. You will closely work together with our Security Operations Center and in addition develop our application and End2End Monitoring capabilities.

You will work in an international and multidisciplinary team and you will use classicial and agile project methodologies. You will also act as point of contact for our customers for all Splunk related topics.

Tasks:

- Support of Lead Architects / Experts to further evolve our Splunk Platforms

- Boarding of new log sources

- Coordination of suppliers

- Ensure proper service levels of platforms

- Point of contact for customer / stakeholder requests

Requirements:

- University Degree in IT, Business Information Systems or similar or extensive proven practical experience

- Experience with system and network architectures

- Solid experience with Splunk technology

- Flexible and open minded to change

- Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance

- Negotiation level of English and fluent in French is mandatory
