• You’ll be a strategic storyteller supporting our business to business (B2B) Cargo spaneting initiatives as well as our engagement with customers and team members.
• ​This job is a member of the Cargo Customer Experience team within the Cargo Division.

• Works closely with Cargo stakeholders to craft impactful communications and spaneting plans that engage new and existing customers and drive product awareness and conversion
• Manages digital channels for American Airlines Cargo including aacargo.com and LinkedIn, and analyzes performance and identifies new channel opportunities
• Identifies the ideal channels and vehicles to communicate with customers and media
• Creates and presents well-communicated plans and results to all stakeholders
• Manages external copywriters and creative agencies when necessary
• Coordinates with Corporate Communications on content planned for extended coverage in mainstream/local spanets and internally, as appropriate
• Must be willing to travel when needed for busines

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelors degree (preferably in spaneting, advertising, communications or journalism) or equivalent experience/training
• 3+ years of spaneting or communications experience or relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Knowledge of digital communication channels
• Proven experience with B2B email spaneting and campaign execution
• Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce
• Understanding of lead generation and nurturing
• Experience with paid media campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads or similar solutions
• Copywriting experience
• Strong presentation skills and familiarity with PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Eloqua or similar email spaneting platforms
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Solid understanding of digital media including KPIs and measurement

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• ​Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of AP Style
• Ability to lead tasks, manage processes, analyze and problem-solve
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a group with all levels of the organization
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research issues to determine root cause
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere while working under pressure and meeting critical deadlines effectively, efficiently and independently
