We have an excitingopportunity within Honeywell Aerospace to be part the Commercial ItemJustification (CIJ) Center of Excellence (COE). The CIJ COE is a highlyintegrated team of Engineers and Pricing Analysts serving as a point of contactfor commercial item status and support for FAR 12 proposals and purchases underFAR 15 programs. The CIJ COE acts as a focal for all Government audits relatedto commerciality and / or price reasonableness of commercial items being soldto the US Government.

This position willwork cross-functionally with the Gold Business Enterprise Engineering, ProductManagement teams, Customer Business Teams, Contracts, Pricing, Compliance, andthe Integrated Supply Chain. 

This role will haveresponsibilities supporting sales and/or buy operations within COE. The CIJ COEoperates in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an energeticindividual ready to make an impact.

What you will do:

Sales Operations: The Sr. Pricing Analyst position plays a keyrole responsible for supporting commercial item justifications in support ofFAR 12 proposals for USG solicitations. You will perform price reasonablenessanalyses in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Thisincludes understanding comparable commercial products sold in the commercialmarketplace and establishing market pricing. The price analyst will use varioustools and techniques to document a strategic and compliant fair and reasonableanalysis. This role interacts with CIJ Engineers, front end business salesteams, proposal operations and product line leaders.

Buy Operations:
The Sr. Pricing Analyst plays a key roleresponsible for supporting the Honeywell Aerospace Government SourcingOrganizations. You will perform internal and external market research toevaluate commercial pricing for commercial products and services suppliersoffer to Honeywell under FAR 15 programs. This includes understandingcomparable commercial products sold in the commercial marketplace andestablishing market pricing. The price analyst will use various tools andtechniques to document a strategic and compliant fair and reasonable analysis. Thisrole interacts with front end business sales teams, proposal operations andproduct line leaders. This role interacts with CIJ Engineers, buyers,subcontract specialists, programs, and proposal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use financial analysis expertise and problem-solving abilities to assess price reasonableness for commercial items.
  • Clearly document and communicate the justification for price reasonableness.
  • Act on Honeywells behalf advocating for commerciality and price reasonableness w/ Customers and the DCMA
  • Understand the laws, regulations and guidance for Commercial Items, Price Reasonableness and contracting.
  • Identify and address areas for improvement in the process / organization.
  • Market Research
  • Own standard work and tools.
  • Conduct training.

Due tocompliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be aU.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, orhave protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 3+ years relevant experience (e.g., price analysis, pricing financial planning & analysis, finance, accounting)

WE VALUE:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or equivalent fields
  • Experience with FAR/ DFARS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with auditors or audit background (internal or external)
  • Demonstrated critical / integrative thinking, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective listening skills, with flexibility in approach to solutions

  • Experience in process improvement and tool development with demonstrated results.
