Position Summary

MAG is currently looking for a Tactical Communications Specialist responsible for organizing and monitoring the coordination efforts the JSOC communitys operational exercise program. This is a TS/SCI position based out of Ft. Liberty, NC.

This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems. You will work closely with esteemed customers to execute events that help develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide operational level Joint Command, Control, Computers, and Communications (C4I) planner Support
  • Develop and Implement exercise plans and Logistical planning support to ensure alignment with JSOC modernization objectives and priorities
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including JSOC Directorates, service component commands, government agencies, and private sector partners to ensure seamless execution
  • Manage test and evaluation components of exercises, ensuring data collection and analysis meet JSOC requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate exercise outcomes, identifying areas of improvement and recommend adjustments to future exercises
  • Provide guidance and support to exercise participants, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive reports on exercise outcomes, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
  • Contribute to developing, as well as implementing support plans, annexes, and operating instruction in the planning phases
  • Work closely with the J6 staff on force deployment phases of communications units supporting JSOC missions
  • Formulate, review, and approve task plans and deliverables in accordance with Government and corporate approved plans
  • Develop and instill a pro-active, collaborative environment and culture for personnel in order to enhance government operations
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • A minimum of (10) years of experience in the military of which (4) years must be in one or more United Sates Army Special Operations Forces units/commands and at least (2) years serving in joint or combined commands staff officer or senior non-commissioned officer
  • Applicant must be familiar with operational requirements associated with U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC)
  • Experience in providing oral and written communication and capability to deliver briefs and papers to Senior Executives, General Officers, and Flag Officers required
  • Must have program management experience in managing and directing functions for multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Tools. Must be a U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance eligibility
  • Working knowledge of the following categories: Cyber, MANET Tactical Radio SYSTEMS, UAS, FMV/ISR, SATCOM, Non-kinetic planning, Enterprise Automation and Cloud Services

Education

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree from an accredited college or university or military equivalent

Desired Requirements

  • Deployed experience with a Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force (CJSOTF)
  • Able to handle arduous work environment mentally and physically

Other Qualifications

  • Top Secret/SCI
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD).
