About the role
We are recruiting for a Yield Analyst on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join our friendly team and be responsible for the pricing strategy and help deliver profitability for designated destinations for one of the UKs leading tour operators.
The purpose of this role is to analyse data and react to consumer behaviour while looking at competitors and ensuring we maximise profitability.
Key accountabilities include:
- Managing the budget and ensuring any price changes help maximise yield
- Contribute to the pricing policy and monthly forecast
- Using your expertise and advising on pricing to the business, while also responding to operational pricing queries
- Reviewing and analysing booking & web data to understand destination performance and maximise profitability
Our essential criteria for this role are:
- Strong numerate and analytical skills with a curiosity to solve problems
- Comfortable working unsupervised and have a proactive approach
- Previous experience of working in a yield role within travel
- Ability to analyse data with competent excel skills (including Pivots)
- Enjoy working as part of a small team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, working to tight and conflicting deadlines
To help you decide whether you would like to apply for this role, as a guide, a typical salary in this role is around £29,000 - £31,000 per annum (this may vary depending on your relevant skills and experience), plus benefits.
Our offices are based just outside Gatwick Airport and we offer hybrid working (within the UK). Generally, this role works from our offices twice a week, with additional days as needed depending on meetings etc. Office days are co-ordinated so that colleagues in the same team are in the office together to collaborate in person. We usually support new colleagues in the office full time for the first six weeks with us. We offer flexible start and finish times.
This role is full time.
