Job Description SummaryAs the Advanced Programs Security Innovation Officer, you will be responsibilities will include connecting effectively with the members of the classified community and the enterprise to identify and cultivate high potential innovations. You will play a key role in the discovery, evaluation, and implementation of new innovative ideas and approaches to current and emerging capabilities within the classified spaces.

Job Description

In this role you will:

  • Use business planning, methodology, and coordination to effectively guide team members and stakeholders in the identification and resolution of a wide array of processes and challenges. Evaluate, outline and document the startup, impacts, operational planning. Lead efforts to manage processes, proof-of-concept/piloting, and evaluation of initiatives.
  • Coordinate, and establish priorities, including the planning, design, programming, testing and post-project review of business process solutions designed to meet requirements of various security related innovation initiatives. Provide input into the selection, maintenance and evaluation of new or improved innovation models to determine the best strategic fit for the organization.
  • Push the limits of the organization and our engagement with customers by thinking outside the box and challenging the business norm.
  • Directly manage Advanced Programs Security innovation processes which includes planning, reporting, problem solving, risk and issues management and implementation.
  • Build relationships with members in within the cleared community to identify and cultivate high potential innovations.
  • Represent Advanced Programs Security across the cleared community and industry, programs.
  • Monitor and report on the Innovation progress efforts on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Create and deliver analytical reports summarizing the progress of innovation opportunities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of innovation research and work efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 6 years of professional experience OR associate degree with minimum of 9 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 11 years of professional experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in management systems or special programs security.

  • Security Clearance: DOD Top Secret (adjudicated within the last six years.

  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
