Aerotek is seeking a qualified Aircraft Electrician who will be responsible for buildup and installation of wire harnesses and related electrical systems for Electro-Optical ISR systems on aircraft platforms, primarily KingAirs. Per Diem pay available for relocation. Hiring ASAP.
- Fabricating harnesses from scratch using cables and blueprints and assembly board fixture, installing and routing on aircraft, terminating and testing.
- Build avionic electrical/electronic components for installation on aircraft.
- Read and implement schematics and blueprints to install and troubleshoot wiring.
- Assist with operational and functional testing of electrical/electronic systems both in the lab prior to shipment and at customer facilities.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, using knowledge of systems wiring and electronics to isolate and correct the fault.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
- 2+ years of routing and installing wire harnesses on aircraft, vehicles, or similar size platforms
- Able to read detailed assembly and routing instructions
PREFERRED:
- 4+ years of Aircraft Electrician experience
- Experience fabricating and installing cable and wiring harnesses on aircraft preferred
Work Environment:
- Office and avionics shop and hangar areas. Day shift Monday-Friday. Assembly areas, testing area, hangar/on-aircraft at nearby airfield.
