Aircraft Electrician

Job Description

• The Aircraft Electrician will be responsible for the buildup and installation of wire harnesses and related electrical systems for electro-optical ISR systems on aircraft platforms, primarily KingAirs.
• You will fabricate harnesses from scratch using cables, blueprints, and assembly board fixtures, install and route them on aircraft, terminate, and test them.
• Major tasks include: building avionic electrical/electronic components for installation on aircraft, reading and implementing schematics and blueprints to install and troubleshoot wiring, assisting with operational and functional testing of electrical/electronic systems both in the lab prior to shipment and at customer facilities, and troubleshooting connectivity issues using knowledge of systems wiring and electronics to isolate and correct faults.

Hard Skills

4+ years aircraft electrician or similar experience

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wilsonville, Oregon.

Work Environment

Office and avionics shop and hangar areas. Day shift Monday-Friday. Assembly areas, testing area, hangar/on-aircraft at nearby airfield.
