Avionic Technician
Greenville, SC
Contract Position
$32.00-$38.00/Hour
Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircrafts operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform avionics system checks, testing, wire routing, and troubleshooting on F-16 aircraft prior to delivery.
- Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal/written instructions to perform adjustments, modifications, and component replacements.
- Operate testing equipment, conduct system tests, and report results in specified formats.
- Support the preparation and application of compounds and solutions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of avionics experience on fighter aircraft, ideally F-16s.
- Proficiency in avionics testing and wire routing.
