Job Requirements:
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Do you have a passion for Aviation? Are you
looking for a position that can be a long term career, and not just a 3 to 6
month contract position? As a technician, you will already possess an FCC
license and either an Electronics School degree or
equivalent work experience or military service. You should be able to perform
ramp tests of various avionics systems or components, be able to remove and
reinstall these components, and be able to perform bench tests of these units
using test equipment and engineering drawings and schematics. You will be able
to identify defective parts on circuit boards and have the soldering skills to
remove and replace them. You will have laptop and PC skills to read and load
software into the current generation of avionics equipment. You will be working
mainly on light general aviation aircraft, mostly single and twin engine piston
powered aircraft. You will come to work each day, knowing you are probably
working on something completely different than the day before. If this sounds
like you, please continue reading!
