Job Title: Aviation Bench Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an individual with bench experience who has previously worked or is currently working on aviation electronic component repairs. The ideal candidate will have the skills necessary to complete disassembly and assembly of electrical components, as well as teardown, inspection, parts requisition, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of aircraft avionic/electronic units down to the component level. The ability to read and comprehend electronics schematics and communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms regarding the status of individual and/or aircraft components is essential.
Responsibilities
- Complete disassembly and assembly of electrical components.
- Teardown, inspect, requisition parts, assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft avionic/electronic units down to the component level.
- Read and comprehend electronics schematics.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms regarding the status of individual and/or aircraft components.

- Windshield Temperature Control Boxes
- Landing Gear Accessory Boxes
- Power Supplies
- Flap Slat Position Indicators
- (Power) Transformers
- Transformer Rectifier Units
- Inverters
- Starters
- Electrical Harnesses
- Lighting
- Must have own hand tools (micrometers, calipers, socket wrenches)
Why Work Here?This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position. Once converted to a direct hire, employees are eligible for health benefits (50 paid by the company), a pay increase based on performance, 401k match up to 3, sick time, vacation, and holiday pay. The team consists of a small, close-knit group of 20 employees, fostering a family-type culture.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $38.00/hr.
