Avionics technicians are needed to join our installation team. We are a FAA certified Repair Station at Aero Services Center- Santa Fe. We are recognized
as the only major avionics installer in New Mexico, offering a
refreshing, full service in-house avionics facility with capabilities
unmatched in the design, automated fabrication, powder coating and laser
etching of custom instrument panels. This is a top level Garmin and
Aspen Avionics installation center, specializing in glass panel upgrades
for piston and turbine aircraft. Exciting workplace, top of the line
facility, training opportunities, and the great Southwest climate are
available to qualified candidates.
The FAA licensed Avionics Technician will perform installations, remove
and replace components, FAR 91.411, 911.413 and 91.217 certification, minor
repair* (wire, lighting bus repair, audio system repair) communications and navigation systems repair
and return to service after maintenance functions.
Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using
circuit testers. Keep record of maintenance repair or maintenance records.
Adjust, repair or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand
tools or soldering irons. Install electrical components, assemblies and systems
in aircraft. Set up and operate ground
support and test equipment to perform functional tests of avionics systems.
Interpret test data to diagnose discrepancies.
