Description
1. Perform avionics line maintenance and avionics installations.
2. Good communication skills. Communicates regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.
3. Must be able to read, understand and accomplish maintenance manual procedures. Must be able to research, read wire prints, and order parts.
4. Must be able to accomplish tasks within allotted time.
5. Ensuring that the repair and installations of all articles and components within their jurisdiction is accomplished within the authority of the repair station and that the Quality Assurance Department, when applicable inspects the work.
6. The proper handling of all parts while in repair process through the shop and when work is completed.
7. Responsible for reporting to the Avionics Manager if a project is not going to be completed on time.
8. Customer interaction and communication as needed.
9. Expected to put in overtime required to complete job assignment.
10. To insure that the maintenance of the shop premises are kept in a clean and orderly manner. All shop equipment is put back to proper location after use.
11. Other jobs and duties may be assigned at the discretion of the company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
1. A&P or Avionics certification a plus and/or related field work with 5 to 7 years’ experience.
2. Pass FAA drug and alcohol program and random testing.
3. Read and understand English.
4. Study Repair Station Manual and pass Repair Station Manual exam.
5. Study Repair Station Quality Control Manual and pass Repair Station Quality Control Manual exam.
6. Study Repair Station Training Manual and pass Repair Station Training Manual exam.
7. Study FAA FAR’s and pass Haggan Aviation training FAR exam.
8. Study FAA RVSM requirements and pass Haggan Aviation training RVSM exam.
9. Show proficiency with avionics test equipment and inspection tools.
10. Learjet, Gulfstream and Citation Experience a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00
