As Avionics Manager, you will work closely with the Service Center Maintenance and Fleet Maintenance teams to manage Avionics projects while ensuring safety, quality, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, employee development, and profitability.
Job Responsibilities
The Avionics Manager reports to the Service Center Manager and will be responsible for the following job duties, including but not limited to:
- This position has direct supervisory responsibilities of the avionics team; currently 3 full-time avionics technicians with plans to grow the team to 6 technicians.
- Project Management of Service Center and Fleet Avionics work including:
- Quoting of initial scope of work and change orders
- Customer communication throughout the project
- Ensuring that quality of work and regulatory compliance is paramount in all work performed
- Final delivery of aircraft to customer
- Leading the process of troubleshooting and repair of customer/fleet aircraft during AOG situations
