Responsibilities:
- Perform routine avionics inspections, calibrations, repairs, and function checks in accordance with FAA regulations, FAA Part 145 Repair Station requirements, and manufacturer guidelines
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical and avionic issues to ensure timely and accurate problem resolution
- Perform avionics modifications and upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and component replacements
- Collaborate with other aviation professionals, including engineers and quality control personnel, to ensure the highest standards of aircraft maintenance are met
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in aviation technology, regulations, and safety procedures
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years recent General Aviation Avionics experience (required)
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License (preferred, but not required)
- Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and guidelines related to aircraft maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for avionics systems
- Must be able to pass airport background check and pre-employment drug test
