Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
*Test, troubleshoot, remove, and replace aircraft instrument and avionics components and/or systems installed in various aircraft airframes using hand tools, ground support equipment, test equipment and technical documents;
*Work in concert with flight crews to perform After-flight troubleshooting and adjustments;
*Perform Preflight evaluations of avionics and instrument systems;
*Ensure the proper use of all equipment and full compliance and understanding of all safety rules and regulations;
*Ensure that all aircraft maintenance work, materials, and practices conform to FAA, customer, company, and manufacturers& 39; standards of quality;
*Perform battery service and support all line maintenance functions;
*Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Avionics Lead;
*Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements:
*High School Diploma or Equivalent
*Minimum 5 years of experience as an Avionics Line Maintenance Technician.
*FCC license required.
*Experience on B777 Gen Fam. Engine Run qualifications a plus.
*Working knowledge of avionics blueprint and schematics.
*Must be able to provide copies of training records.
